Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Willow Construction and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for permits in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
