Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Yarrow Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Richmond. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for customer sites in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
