Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Richmond, VA)

Fernwood Thistle Auto Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for supplier deliveries in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
