Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Richmond, VA)

Redstone Loom Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Richmond region. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for permits in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
