Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Reno, NV)

Summit Pine Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Reno. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Reno. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for waiting lists in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
