Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Redstone Umber Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Charlotte. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for supply orders in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
