Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Stonegate Sable Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Sacramento area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for pipe repairs in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
