Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Northwind Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Providence area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
