Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Summit North Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Wichita. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for permits in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
