Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Bright Rook Housing manages affordable housing communities across Houston. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for resident services in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
