Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Nova Fern Environmental Services Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 768 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
