Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Willow Construction is a Richmond contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for materials orders in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
