Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Northwind Drift Foods produces packaged foods at its Toledo plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
