Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Westbrook Orchard Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
