Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Silverline West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Des Moines. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. We reward reliability. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
