Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
