Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Greenridge Forge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Birmingham region. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for packing house output in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
