Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Pike Construction Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for materials orders in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
