Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Lumen Juniper Facilities looks after properties across the Chicago region, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for contractor visits in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
