Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for scrap and rework in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
