Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Glen Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
