Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Cedar North Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
