Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Junction Housing manages affordable housing communities across Hartford, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
