Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Northwind Haven Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Dallas, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
