Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Stonegate Junction Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 186 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
