Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Meadow Press and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for bindery work in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
