Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Rivermark Basin Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for usage data in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
