Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Foxglove Field Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Detroit plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 904 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for print quotes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
