Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
