Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Quill Energy is an energy provider in Tampa focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for outage response in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
