Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Jacksonville. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
