Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Silverline Ember Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Pittsburgh, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for repair requests in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
