Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Northwind Clear Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Louisville with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
