Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Amberfield Junction Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Wichita area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
