Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Silverline Forge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Buffalo with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
