Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Fernwood Harbor Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 572 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
