Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Ironwood Cedar Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 666 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for customer specifications in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
