Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Westbrook Fern Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
