Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Greenridge Thistle Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Tampa area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
