Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Ironwood Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of San Diego, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of about 603 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
