Maintenance Technician - on-call response (remote)

Nova Fern Freight Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
