Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Meridian Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Providence, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for safety inspections in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
