Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Bridge Freight Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
