Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Nova Mill Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Providence. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
