Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Northwind Bright Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
