Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Northwind Summit Property Management is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on on-call response for maintenance requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance requests in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
