Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Linden Freight is a Providence logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
