Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Clear Energy and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for service connections in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
