Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Vale Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Providence region, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our on-call response. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for safety records in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
