Maintenance Technician - on-call response (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Rowan Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Providence. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on on-call response. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in Providence. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
